1. Jane: Michelle went on a blind date yesterday, and her date totally fell for her.

Soomi: Michelle? The macho girl Michelle?

Jane: Yeah, the mannish Michelle. You know what though, she's good at pretending.

Soomi: I don't know how guys fall for that.

Jane: Exactly. But I'm sure sooner or later he's gonna find out the real Michelle.

제인: 미셸이 어제 소개팅을 했는데, 상대방이 걔한테 푹 빠졌다니 뭐야.

수미: 미셸? 그 선머슴아  미셸이?

제인: 그래, 그 남자 같은 미셸이. 그런데 그거 알아, 걔가 내숭 잘 떨지 뭐야.

수미: 남자들이 어떻게 그런 것에 넘어가는지 모르겠다.

제인: 내 말이. 하지만 그 남자애도 조만간 진짜 그애의 모습을 알아내고 말 거야.

 

2. Mike: Soomi, you might want to show your feminine side a little more when you meet David.

Soomi: What do you mean? You mean, I have to cover up who I really am in order to impress him? Hell no!!

Mike: No, I'm just saying it wouldn't hurt to act a little if you want to make a good first impression on someone.

Soomi: Shut up, you male-chauvinist. I'm gonna be myself. Okay?

마이크: 수미야, 너 데이빗 만나면 너의 여성스러운 면을 좀 더 부각시키도록 해 봐.

수미: 그게 무슨 말이야? 걔한테 잘 보이려고 내 진짜 모습을 감추라고? 헛소리 하지 마!

마이크: 아니, 첫인상을 좋게 남기고 싶으면 연기 좀 한다고 나쁠 거 없잖아.

수미: 그마내. 이 남성 우월주의자야. 난 내 모습 그대로 보여 줄 거야. 알았어?

 

3. Michelle: I'm so hungry.

Lucy: Hungry? Your date didn't even take you out to dinner?

Michelle: He did. But the guy was so perfect, and I wanted to make a good first impression on him.

So, I tried not to eat very much.

Lucy: You didn't eat to impress a guy? Wow, that's so unlike you. Was he that good?

Michelle: He looks like Brad Pitt, and even talks like him.

Lucy: Oh, my God, you're in love.

미셸: 나 배고파.

루시: 배가 고파? 소개팅한 남자가 저녁도 안 사줬어?

미셸: 사줬어. 근데 그 남자가 너무 멋있어서 잘 보이고 싶었거든. 그래서 제대로 못 먹었어.

루시: 남자한테 잘 보이려고 밥을 안 먹었어? 와, 진짜 너 답지 않네. 그 남자가 그렇게 괜찮았어?

미셸: 브레드 피트하고 똑같은 거 있지, 그런데 말투까지도 똑같았다니까.

루시: 맙소사, 얘가 완전 뿅 갔구나.
